Let it Ride Poker developed originally by ShuffleMaster Gaming is a 5-card stud poker variation that allows 7 player plays and has potentially high payouts.
All players are given three cards while the dealer holds only two community cards. All players must not discuss or show their cards to other players and should keep their cards face down in a way that the dealer can see them clearly. Also the three circles in front of each player marked $, 1 and 2 respectively are to place fixed and temporary bets.
The main objective of the game is to acquire the best possible hand. The dealer after dealing out cards discards one card and leaves two cards face down in front of himself. Meanwhile the players make three bets of the same amount and place these on the three circles in front of them. Once the dealing and betting is done the players are allowed to look at their cards and decide if they want to take back their bet in circle 1 or continue to Let It Ride.
At this point the dealer opens the first from the two community cards and allows players to decide the fate of their bets on the basis of this fourth card. Again they have the option of taking back the second bet irrespective of the status of their first bet or to simply Let It Ride. However players cannot reverse their decision for the first bet.
To finish, the dealer turns over the second community card giving each player a 5-card hand and proceeds to payout on all the winning bets. Winners are awarded on the basis of a series of predetermined combinations and losers are the players without any paying hands.
